So keep your eyes open and then open your mouth: whether CBD oils, capsules or drops – the dosage is what matters!

The right CBD dosage? As individual as you!

More and more users rate the use of CBD extremely positively for a variety of illnesses and complaints – for example, stress and poor sleep or in cases of restlessness. Numerous scientific studies are also gradually suggesting the amazing potential effects of CBD.

There is no standard CBD dosage recommendation, only well-founded guidelines that have been derived from the experiences of many respondents. It is best to slowly test your individual dosage and find out for yourself how many mg of CBD will help to relieve your symptoms. The decisive influencing factors are body weight, the type and intensity of the symptoms, your individual body chemistry and sensitivities to herbal substances.

Basically, low-concentration CBD oils or capsules with 5 to 10% CBD extract are more suitable for CBD beginners. Taking high-dose CBD drops (with a concentration of up to 30% CBD) is only recommended for experienced users who are looking for significantly stronger effects. At this point, we would like to reassure you: Due to their legally stipulated THC content of a maximum of 0.2 percent in Germany, CBD oils, CBD drops or CBD capsules completely legal and available without a prescription, non-psychoactive and generally very well tolerated.

CBD oil – particularly popular and proven.

CBD oil is the most popular CBD product. It is dripped drop by drop directly under the tongue, kept in the mouth for a good minute and quickly absorbed by the oral mucosa. Ideally, it should always be taken at a fixed time and over a longer period of time, with the exception of acute use. The effect depends on the respective CBD concentration – so you have to know how much CBD is contained in a drop of CBD oil. Then the ideal cannabidiol dosage is child’s play.

For orientation:

1 drop of 5% CBD oil contains about 2.5 mg CBD

1 drop of 10% CBD oil already contains about 5 mg CBD

The dosage should slowly approach the desired effect. For example, we recommend that CBD newbies take 1 drop of low-concentration CBD oil 3 times a day.

CBD – an enrichment in every form!

The effects of CBD occur most quickly with CBD oil – usually after 15 to 60 minutes – because it is absorbed directly through the oral mucosa, thus increasing bioavailability. The effects of CBD oil last for about 5 hours.

CBD in capsule form or in foods such as gummy bears or chocolate is absorbed through the stomach lining and takes some time to take effect, on average after about 1 to 2 hours, but lasts up to 8 hours. CBD capsules and CBD sprays also have the advantage that they are precisely pre-dosed and the body receives exactly the same dose of CBD with each capsule or spray. The CBD capsule dosage is therefore recommended for anyone who prefers an uncomplicated intake.

Please note:

This information is not medical advice, but is intended for guidance only! In general, side effects do not occur with CBD. However, it is recommended that you only take CBD in the evening at first, as tiredness or reduced concentration have been observed in rare cases. Long car journeys should also be avoided if possible. If, in exceptional cases, you suffer from headaches or dizziness after taking the medication, you have probably taken too high a dosage and should reduce it. Particular caution is required in the case of liver disease and glaucoma. If you are taking medication, it is advisable to consult your doctor or pharmacist.
